Summer Camps

Stay active this summer with a variety of camps to choose from at Stars & Stripes Athletics! Campers will have an experience full of movement, play, organized games and instruction led by enthusiastic instructors in a high-energy environment. Campers have the flexibility of registering for single day(s) or full week(s). There is also the option of half day or full day, along with early drop off and late pick up if needed. Snack is provided for morning and afternoon campers. Full day campers will need to bring a lunch or register for lunch.

Our goal is to provide campers a memorable experience with a welcoming environment to meet friends, grow, learn and enjoy staying active. All camps offered involve movement from low intensity to high intensity depending on the camp. There are also several options involving interactive, creative play as well. We provide something for everyone! The level of intensity is listed along with the camp description.

Summer Camp Lunch Menu

NEW! Stars & Stripes will be providing Lunch options for each day of camp. We will be partnering with Mel’s Grill to provide the campers will a different selection on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Wednesdays will continue to be Pizza Day (delivered by Little Caesar’s Pizza). Campers that are at Stars & Stripes from 12:00-1:00pm will spend that time eating lunch and having free play in our designated outdoor snack/lunch space. The daily menu is listed below. Please read the additional information below on how to register for Lunch.

Summer Camp Checklist

Please review/complete the following information before your campers first day. 

WHAT TO WEAR & WHAT TO BRING TO CAMP
- athletic footwear and bring a change of casual shoes such as flip flops/slides/sandals. *If required attire is necessary, it will be specified in the camp description.
- water bottle labeled with their first and last name
- change of clothes in a bag labeled with their first and last name

CHECK IN/CHECK OUT - THE DROP OFF/PICK UP LOOP
- upon drop off have your camper prepared when approaching the drop off location with their water bottle, lunch (if needed) and change of clothes/shoes (in a bag).
- You will state who is picking up your child and it will be recorded by the check in coach.
- THE PICK UP PERSON MUST BE LISTED ON THE RECORD – MEDICAL/EMERGENCY FORM, AND THEY WILL HAVE TO SHOW ID.
- Upon check out, you will state your child’s name and show ID.

All Sports Camp

This high energy camp is designed to provide a productive experience for the athlete exploring different sports all the way to athletes with experience.  Campers will have exposure to a variety of sports working on coordination, agility and speed along with practice throwing, catching and shooting along with a multitude of drills with a well-rounded approach; all with the goal of movement, improvement and enjoyment of just playing sports.  All skill levels are welcome and will benefit as lessons can be modified and individualized for all needs. Campers MUST wear athletic footwear.

Freestyle & Games Camp

Get ready for some excitement! Campers we be in constant motion with age-appropriate, organized games led by the Stars & Stripes instructors. This camp is sure to get kids moving with a multitude of team games in an organized environment. Campers will have the opportunity to learn rules of the games, use teamwork and strategize with other campers on their team.

Gymnastics Camp

(4-5 years) | (6-7 years) | (8-12 years) high intensity movement

Gymnastics camp is offered for all recreational skill levels beginner through advance. New to gymnastics? No problem! This camp can be a great introduction to the sport AND it is also great for seasoned gymnasts. Our experienced instructors will assess skill levels and train each athlete accordingly. Campers will work on a variety of gymnastics skills on all four events including the vault, bars, beam and floor (mushroom, parallel bars and still rings will be available for boy gymnasts).  Campers MUST wear gymnastics attire: a leotard or form fitting tank & shorts with hair tightly secured.

Warrior Training Camp

(4-5 years) | (6-7 years) | (8-12 years) high Intensity movement

This high intensity camp will keep campers moving! From the warrior obstacle course to the trampolines, foam pits and warped wall campers will be challenging their upper body strength, stamina, spatial awareness and overall coordination.  Participants are getting a full body workout that is FUN! Participants will have the opportunity to master and perfect the warrior obstacles throughout the week.  The course will change throughout the summer. Campers MUST wear athletic footwear.

American Doll Camp

(4-9 years) low intensity movement

This camp is perfect for children who love to play with their American dolls!  Campers can bring their doll to camp and will have the opportunity to socialize with friends, play with their American dolls and participate in a variety of activities including their doll. Each day will provide a new adventure with organized themes to keep the campers moving and engaged.

Barbie Camp

 This is the ultimate camp for Barbie lovers! Campers will have the opportunity to socialize and play with Barbies and our instructors play right alongside them! Each day will be a new adventure incorporating movement, play, creativity and all things Barbie.

Ninja Turtles Camp

(4-9 years) moderate intensity movement

Cowabunga! Join the infamous members of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo as they fight off the evils of New York City! Campers will get to sharpen up their defense skills and train like the Ninja Turtles do in an effort to keep everyone safe from supervillains and crime. Each day we will mutate into the Ninja Turtle of the day and learn about their habits, strengths, weaknesses and how they defend themselves against the enemy. This camp is sure to be a blast as we climb through the sewers, play pizza games and fight Shredder and The Kraang.

Pirate Camp

ARRRR you ready for pirate camp?  This camp will allow campers to use their imagination and creativity through active pirate play. Each day is a new pirate adventure with activities such as searching for gold, walking the plank, pirate training, pool-noodle sword fighting and building a pirate ship using the gym mats.

Princess Camp

This whimsical yet active camp is the perfect fit for the camper who loves princesses! Campers will use their imagination and creativity through a variety of princess activities, play and adventures. Nail painting and crown designing are just a few of our activities for campers to embrace their inner princess.

Star Wars Camp

(4-9 years) moderate intensity movement

You don't have to go to a galaxy far, far away for this Stars Wars fun! Campers will be immersed in all things Star Wars while helping the resistance destroy the dark side of the force. Jedi training in our sports facility should surely prepare these campers for any situation that may arise. Campers will get creative with everyday supplies to make items such as light sabers and design droids, all while drinking some blue milk of course! Wear your Star Wars attire!

Superhero Camp

Campers will hone in on their superhero powers to defend the universe and test their superhero strength and agility through a series of obstacle courses and relay races.  They will protect their territory from villains and create alliances with their fellow superheroes. Campers will experience a new super hero adventure each day.

Scooby Mystery Camp

(5-9 years) low intensity movement

Scooby-Doo! Where are you? Summer Camp at Stars & Stripes is back in action which means one of those iconic villains will be gearing up to snatch our Scooby. We need your help to uncover the mystery of who will decide to add dog-knapping to their villainous resume. Those villains always think they can outsmart our campers, but we will be sure to prevail as we spend the week sharpening our detective skills and fueling up on Scooby Snacks. Will it be the Ghost of Mr. Hyde? Space Kook? The Caveman? Join us for this specialty camp and help us unmask this summer's villain and mark this mystery as: SOLVED! (FULL WEEK ONLY)

Nature Adventure Camp

(5-12 years) moderate intensity movement

Are you ready to get into nature! At the Nature Adventure camp children will explore the outdoors, set up a campsite, participate in camping activities such roasting marshmallows and campfire cooking. Hiking the lush forests of Stars & Stripes will include looking for animal tracks, examining different plants and leaves. Each day will present a new activity providing children the opportunity to learn about nature in a hands-on fashion. A visit from Science Alive including a variety of animals will take place one day throughout the week (exact day not yet determined).

Nerf Camp

Bring your artillery and get ready to battle!  Don’t have a nerf weapon?  You can borrow one of ours!  We also provide bullets.  Campers will enjoy a variety of target practices including visual targets, moving targets and (cup) pyramids just to name a few.  Once their target skills are sharpened and protection fortresses are built, the nerf battle is on!

Stunt & Tumble Camp

(6-7 years) & (8-12 years) high Intensity movement

Stunt & Tumble Camp is all about experiencing the amazing athletics of cheerleading! Whether your child is already on a team, wants to prepare for a team or simply wants to have some fun; Stunt & Tumble Camp is the place to advance your knowledge of the sport. Cheerleaders in this high-energy camp will practice jumps, motions, tumbling and stunts. They will also learn about safety, showmanship and teamwork. Campers participating in Stunt & Tumble Camp must wear tight fight clothing (shorts and t-shirt/tank top) and athletic footwear.(FULL WEEK ONLY)

Christmas in July Camp

Does your child love the holiday season? Well at Christmas in July Camp the yule tide spirit will be felt all week long! Campers will practice gift wrapping, decorate cookies and participate in organized games revolving around Christmas! Campers are encouraged to wear holiday attire and will participate in activities both indoors and outdoors. (FULL WEEK ONLY)

Harry Potter Camp

(6-12 years) moderate intensity movement

Your letter to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry awaits! Witches and Wizards will begin by being sorted into one of the four Hogwarts Houses: Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw or Slytherin. Once sorted, they will earn their House robes, wands and pets. Throughout the week our witches and wizards will participate in a variety of Harry Potter inspired activities that include low, medium and high intensity movement. These activities will help them earn points for their House. Quidditch practice will take place daily to help each House prepare for the Quidditch Cup. We will also experience some sweet treats from the Honeydukes Candy Shop. Witches and Wizards will end the week with a cold glass of butter beer in celebration of our winners of the Quidditch Cup Tournament and House Cup! This week-long specialty camp is sure to be a brilliant experience. (FULL WEEK ONLY)

Welcome to Spy Camp where young agents in training embark on a thrilling adventure of espionage and intrigue. The camp is filled with exhilarating activities from navigating laser obstacle courses to decoding mysteries with a blend of teamwork and stealth. Campers will feel like seasoned investigators analyzing finger prints and putting clues together. Campers will also participate in obstacle training to improve their stealth-like moves. Campers will work together to complete missions, fostering a sense of camaraderie and instilling a love for adventure in every agent. (FULL WEEK ONLY)

(8-12 years) low intensity movement

A specialty camp designed just for all the Swifties out there where the magic of Taylor Swift’s music comes to life for kids! In this vibrant and energetic camp, young Swifties embark on a journey through the various eras of Taylor Swift’s iconic career. Each day is a new adventure, from the fearless days of country twang to the sparkling pop extravaganza. Campers engage in interactive activities like “Shake It Off” dance-offs, bracelet making and even a costume day where they can dress up as their favorite Taylor persona. With a backdrop of joyous melodies and a sprinkle of glitter, the Taylor Swift Camp will create memories that will have campers singing and smiling all the way home! (FULL WEEK ONLY)
