A.C.T. Basketball Club

The ACT Basketball Club philosophy is in the name - centered upon developing the ATHLETE, their CHARACTER and their ability to become an effective TEAM player. The curriculum of the program will provide players a unique training experience to improve their game and develop as an overall athlete.

Basketball Foundation

Basketball Foundation:

  • Basketball Foundation 1 is designed for the beginner to intermediate player, while Basketball Foundation 2 will enhance fundamental and is geared for experienced players.
  • Prerequisites for Basketball Foundation 2 include either experience playing AAU basketball, evaluation and/or promotion from Basketball Foundation 1.
  • program for boys and girls; ages 5 years (co-ed), 6-8 years, 9-11 years and 12-14 years
  • fundamentals including dribbling, shooting, passing, defense, moving without ball
  • game situations and practice without actually scrimmaging
  • creating the tools to play 5 on 5
  • light speed/agility/strength emphasis
  • 8-10 athletes to 1 coach ratio (will stay closer to 8:1 for younger age groups)

Summer FLEX Schedule (July-August): 
$24/class (30 minute class) - $5 off/class if registering for 4 or more classes
$37/class (60 minute class) - $5 off/class if registering for 4 or more classes

  • Co-ed 5 years - Mondays 4:30-5:00pm & Wednesdays 6:30-7:00pm

Foundation 1

  • Girls 6-8 years - Tuesdays 5:30-6:30pm
  • Girls 9-11 & 12-14 years - Tuesdays 4:30-5:30pm
  • Boys 6-8 years - Tuesdays 6:30-7:30pm
  • Boys 9-11 & 12-14 years - Thursdays 4:30-5:30pm

Foundation 2

  • Girls 6-8 years - Tuesdays 5:30-6:30pm
  • Girls 9-11 & 12-14 years - Wednesdays 7:00-8:00pm
  • Boys 6-8 years - Tuesdays 6:30-7:30pm
  • Boys 9-11 & 12-14 years - Mondays 7:00-8:00pm

Ball Out

Ball Out: 

  • Prerequisites: must have played AAU/Travel basketball, promoted from another class and/or evaluation before registration.
  • program for boys and girls; ages 9-11 years and 12-14 years
  • organized, instructional play, focus is on playing the game and practicing real game situations
  • coaches will pause during games for “teachable moments” and constructive critiques
  • 8-10 to 1 coach ratio (will stay at 8 and below for younger age groups)

Summer FLEX Schedule (July-August):  
$25/class (60 minute class) - $5 off/class if registering for 4 or more classes

  • Girls 9-11 years - Thursdays 5:30-6:30pm
  • Girls 12-14 years - Thursdays 6:30-7:30pm
  • Boys 9-11 years - Mondays 5:00-6:00pm
  • Boys 12-14 years - Mondays 6:00-7:00pm

Combo Training

Combo Training:

  • Prerequisites: must have played AAU/Travel basketball, promoted from another class and/or evaluation before registration.
  • program for boys and girls; ages 9-11 years and 12-14 years
  • fundamental basketball training and conditioning
  • 8-10 athletes to 1 coach ratio (will stay at 8 and below for younger age groups)

  • Girls 9-11 years - Wednesdays 5:30-6:30pm
  • Girls 12-14 years - Wednesdays 5:30-6:30pm

  • Boys 12-14 years - Wednesdays 4:30-5:30pm

Summer 2-Day Clinics

Our Summer 2-Day Clinics are offered to both boys and girls ages 8 to 14 years and is designed to help players improve their skills and confidence. Athletes will be divided into groups based on experience, skill, focus and age. Smaller athlete to coach ratios allow for individualized attention and an environment that can cater to beginner through advanced players.

July 29th & 30th - $99
9:15am-11:15am (8-10 years boys)
11:45-1:45pm (8-10 year old girls)

July 31st & August 1st - $99
9:15am-11:15am (11-14 year old boys)
11:45-1:45pm (11-14 years girls)
